๐๏ธ Roller Crosswalk โ By Cosimo Cheone Caiffa in Trezzano sul Naviglio, Italy ๐ฎ๐น
This work in Trezzano sul Naviglio lets the wall supply the painter while the road supplies his canvas. The roller meets the first white stripe at exactly the right point, making the crosswalk look freshly painted.

๐ท Dans l’objectif… โ By Blesea in Normandy, France ๐ซ๐ท
Blesea titled this 2025 work Dans l’objectif…. The concrete blockhouse supplies the camera body, while the painted girl, her hands, and the lens complete the illusion. An Attitude Manche profile notes that Blesea is especially known for his work on blockhouses in the Cotentin and wider Manche area.
๐ก Nerd Fact: The Manche blockhouses used by Blesea are surviving witnesses to the Normandy landings. Construction of the Atlantic Wall began in 1942. The system included batteries, garrison bunkers, and radar stations, with German forces tasked with defending almost 5,000 kilometres of coastline.

Kristianstad Municipality lists the work as Kattrin, created by Christofer Siwertz-Svedjeby, better known as Sagie. Installed in 2023 at Cardellsgatan beside Lilla Torg, the cat bends around the roofline as if it has just spotted the street below.

๐ In Which Nadine Amuses a Dragon and Makes Autumn Happen โ By David Zinn in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA ๐บ๐ธ
Zinn’s own post gives the work its full title. Nadineโthe artist’s โmouse of adventureโโwatches while a green dragon rolls across the pavement in laughter. Chalk and fallen leaves meet in one temporary scene, making autumn look as though the characters caused it.
๐ก Nerd Fact: Zinn’s creatures are not designed in a studio and then copied outdoors. According to the artist’s official biography, every temporary street drawing is improvised on location using only chalk, charcoal, and found objects.

๐ด The Sleeping Beauty โ By Made in Graffiti in Picardie, France ๐ซ๐ท
France 3 Picardie identifies Made in Graffiti as Johann Grenier. Here, the grassy slope becomes a blanket and the painted edge becomes a pillow; from across the field, the whole hillside appears to have settled down to sleep.

๐ฆ Eurasian Blue Tit โ By JanIsDeMan in Dinteloord, Netherlands ๐ณ๐ฑ
JanIsDeMan identifies the work as a Eurasian blue tit painted in Dinteloord in 2021. Local reporting on the project explains the site-specific idea. The brick utility building on Bloemendijk becomes a birdhouse, with chicks at the round opening and the adult bringing flowers as a nod to the road’s name and local biodiversity.
๐ก Nerd Fact: The flowers are symbolic, but feeding a real brood is much less decorative. According to the British Trust for Ornithology, one blue tit chick can eat about 100 caterpillars a day, so a brood of ten may require as many as 1,000.
