When Snow Becomes Art (9 Photos)

By Vidar
A bear sculpted from snow standing on its hind legs and hugging a real tree trunk in a snowy park, beside a snow monster built around an open mailbox so the mailbox looks like its screaming mouth, with branch arms.

Everything here is made of snow

A bear hugs a tree, a mailbox grows a face, and a steam locomotive stands still in the snow. These 9 examples of snow art range from playful front-yard sculptures to enormous carvings at Harbinโ€™s winter shows.

๐Ÿฆถ Two Feet of Snow

Someone heard the forecast say two feet of snow and took it literally. The toes are the best part.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Venus in the Street โ€” Alcalรก de Henares, Spain ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

A headless, armless Venus de Milo in a snowy street at night, taller than the car parked beside her. Two neighbors with no art background, Jaime and Daniel, built it in the Parque del รngel neighborhood of Alcalรก de Henares, near Madrid, after Storm Filomena in January 2021, Time Out Madrid reported. They took their time on the drapery.
