A real dog joins a bronze-colored sculpture of children pushing a large jar while a sculpted dog tugs at one child’s clothing. The real dog grabs the sculpted dog’s tail and appears to join the chain. The artist, official title, exact location, and installation date remain unconfirmed.

Known locally as Takaharu Town’s Totoro, the handmade concrete figure and bus-stop-style sign are based on the rainy waiting scene from My Neighbor Totoro. It stands in the garden of a private home and can be visited during the day at 7538-6 Kamamuta.

🦘 “Kangaroo” — By Odeith in Darwin, Australia 🇦🇺

Darwin Street Art Festival identifies “Kangaroo” as a 2019 work at 14 West Lane. Odeith painted a kangaroo and joey across the corner walls and turned the transformer box in front into a white van. From the intended viewpoint, the walls and box form one 3D scene. Local reporting in February 2024 noted that the painted transformer box had been replaced by a plain green one, so the van no longer completes the illusion on site.
