Banksy’s mural appeared on Hornsey Road in Finsbury Park on March 18, 2024, and the artist confirmed it with before-and-after photos on Instagram, as Artnet News reported. The cherry tree was already around 40–50 years old, and the council says it had been pruned because of decay and fungal damage — the mural gave its bare branches a painted canopy. Jan Is De Man turned this wall at Muntplein into Cabinet. Residents brought cherished objects to a display case, and their keepsakes became the giant items painted on the building.
