A streetlight becomes a toy.
A concrete corner becomes a place to nap. These six works of street art and sculpture give cats the run of the neighborhood, from a tiny lookout on a wall to a whole column of restless climbers.

WA painted this sleeping kitten across a concrete corner in Mirones, Lima. Its pink paws face the street while its tail curls onto the adjoining surface. The person standing nearby makes the catโs unlikely size even better.

One cat watches while the other reaches up to the real streetlight. WOSKerski made the pole part of his mural at a Larne paint jam organized by Seedhead Arts. At this scale, ordinary street furniture starts to look like a cat toy.

Two innocent kittens in front of a pole, playing innocently with it. Giant kittens. You really need a clear road to appreciate the… art. A hard piece to do with rain threatening, but a friendly community who wondered as the works took place. I can’t remember if police were required to ensure the commissioned works were done without any hassle to be honest. Just the opposite road needed to truly appreciate it. No hassles, and plenty of time. A website for the young ones who see it… it’s not my fault there are so many of them. 45 more cat ones, don’t tell me I have been around much okay. Kids. Your ones. This artwork is up there amongst my own top favourites. An innocent soul, a hard position, alot of yelling, a precious moment where the world stopped hurting, and for a moment was kind. Love. What real love is. It kills the ones that yell. Not fix them and put me around them. No way is this for everywhere, or everyone. This many, and I have been around that often. You guys are crazy. You honestly are. You are the ones that know this, so back off with the caring. Like you are there in hospital making sure. You are all crazy. Twenty years, stop saying you do.
