Banksy’s “Valentine’s Day Mascara”: A Powerful Statement on Women’s Rights
The elusive artist Banksy has depicted a 1950’s housewife who appears to have been a victim of domestic violence and has now turned the tables on her abusive husband by killing him and stashing his body in the fridge.
The artwork is titled “Valentine’s Day Mascara” and was Banksy’s first creation in the town.
