Street Artist Alex Maksiov
By Alex Maksiov for Big Walls Big Dreams 2022 in Houston, Texas, USA.
In the heart of Houston, Texas, a staircase has been transformed into a stage for a silent musician. Alex Maksiov, for Big Walls Big Dreams 2022, presents a lifelike mural of a guitarist lost in the strings of his melody. As commuters rush by, they’re briefly part of a concert where the music is felt, not heard. The guitar case lies open, a metaphor for dreams waiting to be filled.
It’s a moment of urban joy, yet tinged with the solitude of a solo performance on concrete keys. This art sings a story of passion and the quiet pursuit of dreams amid the city’s cacophony.
