The world of music mourns a great loss today. The legendary Tina Turner, whose powerful voice and unparalleled stage presence earned her the title “The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” has passed away at the age of 83.
Tina Turner was not just a singer; she was a symbol of resilience, talent, and grace. Despite the numerous challenges she faced throughout her life, she rose to the top, leaving an indelible mark on the music industry. Her music transcended genres and generations, earning her a devoted fanbase worldwide.
This mural are on the north wall of the Delta Heritage Center and depicts Tina Turner and Sleepy John Estes, a Brownsville Blues Pioneer. The Tina Turner Museum is located on the grounds of the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center.
