Fin DAC: A wonderful project in Pantin in 2018. Photographed by my friend Sofistic on the night of the mural completion… lit professionally (kind of 😊) both internally and externally for full effect. It was another of my building reinterpretations with the design taking it’s lead from the pitch of the roof and the solitary window on the façade.
The mural was damaged in a storm in 2020 but I’ll be heading back later this year to repair the piece. It’ll be the first time I’ve ever returned to ‘fix’ a mural as I’m generally of the opinion that everything has it’s life span and we should just let time and nature take its course. But this was a special wall for me and I know how special it was to local people… it feels right to break my rule and make the necessary additions/improvements.
