“Science and Faith” by Eduardo Kobra in São Paulo, Brazil at Hospital Das Clinicas FMUSP.
It’s called ‘Science and Faith’, and its message is straightforward: there is no contradiction between believing in God and medicine
Eduardo Kobra: Congratulations, São Paulo, my hometown, on your 468th anniversary! My gift is this 200 square meter (2,150 sq ft) mural, now shown on one of the facades of Clínicas Hospital, an internationally recognized medical center. It’s called ‘Science and Faith’, and its message is straightforward: there is no contradiction between believing in God and medicine. I hope this work gives a touch of hope to all who need to go to this important hospital — and symbolizes our gratitude to the professionals who work there.
