For a wheelchair user, a sidewalk without an access ramp is a wall. And, according to the latest census, only 9% of sidewalks in São Paulo have access ramps. Therefore, to draw attention to this lack of accessibility, we invited artists to do what they do best to the city’s walls to do their art on walls that only wheelchair users are aware of.
Odeith was born in 1976, in Damaia (Portugal). He held a spray can for the first time in the mid 1980’s. In the 90’s, when graffiti began its dissemination throughout Portugal and began to leave its Portuguese birthplace, Carcavelos, Odeith had his first contact with this movement. His first experiences were sketching on street walls and train tracks.
Born in Paris, Seth began to paint on the walls of his city in the mid-90s. Before becoming a full-time artist, Seth works in the creative industries: advertising, cartoons, comics. He painted in the street for his pleasure.
