Banksy: A local man came up and said ‘Please – what does this mean?’ I explained I wanted to highlight the destruction in Gaza by posting photos on my website – but on the internet people only look at pictures of kittens.
Banksy: Gaza is often described as ‘the world’s largest open air prison’ because no-one is allowed to enter or leave. But that seems a bit unfair to prisons – they don’t have their electricity and drinking water cut off randomly almost every day.

Gaza was made a prison by hamas.
It has an open border with Egypt. However, the Egyptians do not want the ‘so called’ Palestinians to enter there, because of hamas. Actually, Gazans used to come to Israel for work & to use the hospitals. A shame Banksy is rather ignorant of these basic facts.

It is you who is ignorant of the facts. In order to enter Israel from Gaza you had to queue for hours to go through military check points during which you could be strip searched at random and turned away for no reason only to visit the place you were born but are no longer allowed to go. And now the Israeli government is trying to destroy the Palestinian people because they want their land. They are committing genocide and your ignorance lend support to that regime and to the deaths of thousands of children. I feel truly sorry for you that could grow up so uneducated and so blind to the truth. Do your research before you open your mouth.
