This mural is painted in honour of the Guide Dogs for the Blind, which was founded in New Brighton by Muriel Crooke and Rosamund Bond in 1931. The image depicts a Golden Retriever, a Golden Labrador and a German Shepard, the three main breeds equipped to work as guide dogs.
